Ross, Gary (Junior Kiwanian/ December 1974)
Gary Ross, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ross, was installed as Junior Kiwanian of
the month at the December 30 meeting of the Neillsville Kiwanis Club. Sam Ray
was the installing officer.
Gary ranks in the upper 15 percent of the senior class at Neillsville high
school where he is active particularly in the FFA. He has held several offices
in that organization and is a past member of the parliamentary procedure team.
Active in scouting as well, he has attained the rank of Star Scout.
Noah Aguillard, head of the Clark County Nutritional Program, was guest speaker
at the meeting.
Kiwanians were reminded at the January 6, meeting to prepare for the annual
Liar’s Contest in February. Len Chaltry spoke briefly on the subject of the
Kiwanis volley ball team.
After the meeting, members removed trimmings from the Kiwanis community
Christmas tree.
