Clark County recorded its first traffic fatality of 1975 with the death of a rural Greenwood man in a head-on crash about 5:30 p.m. Saturday on a Mead town road.

Anthony Albert Bolf, 43, Rt. 3 Greenwood, sustained fatal neck injuries when the vehicle he was driving collided on a hill crest with an auto driven by Arlen R. Klapatauskas, Rt. 3 Thorp.

Klapatauskas was treated for facial injuries at a Marshfield hospital.

Funeral services for Anthony Bolf were scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, at 9:30 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Greenwood, and at 10:30 a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Houston officiating. A wake service was held Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Interment was to be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Mr. Bolf, son of Matthew and Katherine (Briski) Bolf, was born January 7, 1931, in Gallup, N.M. His marriage to the former Dorothy Koblyinski took place June 14, 1955, in Thorp.
