Marlene Brecht, daughter of Mrs. Shirley Brecht, R. 1, Owen (Clark Co.),
Wisconsin, is a candidate for the Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and
computer science. She is in the College of Letters and Science.
University President Kenneth Lindner will confer degrees to 560 undergraduates
and 40 graduate students, the largest graduating class ever, at the annual
spring commencement ceremony being held at 3 p.m., June 5, 1971. The number of
June graduates I an increase of 91 over last year, when 509 diplomas were
awarded. In 1969, 448 students were on the commencement list.
