Mrs. Rose Leland of Eau Claire came Wednesday to spend several days visiting the home of her sister and brother-in-laww, Mr. and Mrs. John Blunck and other relatives in the area, and on Thursday Mr. and Mrs. John Blunck and John Jr., Mr. and Mrs. John Jalling, and Mrs. Leland went to Sparta, being called there by the death of a relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Viatonis returned from a three week honeymoon trip to Barbados in the West Indies, and are visiting relatives and friends in the area.

Mr. Robert Segerstrom returned to his home in Sterling, Colorado Friday afternoon, after attending the funeral of his mother, Mrs. Helen Segerstrom.

Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Christensen were in Minneapolis last week to visit their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Christensen, and saw Don get his Doctor of Education degree from the University. Don has accepted a position as Director of Curriculum in the Public Schools at Rose Mountain, Minnesota.

Over the weekend Mr. and Mrs. Jim Englebretson and sons of Madison visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Christensen, and other relatives and friends.
