Eggleston, Gayle K. (Mulkins) (23 APR 1947 - 13 APR 2018)
Gayle K. Eggleston, 70, of Park Falls, died on Friday April 13, 2018 at Sacred
Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
Funeral services will be held on Friday April 20 at 2 p.m. at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church in Butternut with Deacon Bob Schienebeck officiating.
A visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of
the service. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Cecelia Catholic
Cemetery in Butternut.
Gayle was born on April 23, 1947 in Butternut, the daughter of and Roy and Pat (Ols)
Mulkins. Her early life and schooling were in Butternut. On Dec. 22, 1973 she
married Gerard “Jerry” Eggleston in Butternut.
Gayle was an alcohol and drug abuse counselor for many years. She enjoyed making
wedding cakes, camping, hunting, fishing, carpentry, operating heavy equipment,
snowmobiling, classic cars, photography, homemaking and especially spending time
with her family.
Gayle is survived by her husband, Gerard “Jerry” Eggleston of Park Falls; four
children,
Patricia “Tish” (Mike) Jorgensen of Medford, Kristopher (Carole) Eggleston of
Appleton, William “Bill” (Breanna) Eggleston of Butternut and Courtney (Rob)
Swift of Lake Tomahawk; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many
other relatives and friends.
Gayle was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda Bean.
