Kulibert, Evelyn (Ryall) (17 JUL 1925 - 18 MAR 2018)
Evelyn (Ryall) Kulibert, of Zephyrhills, Fla. (formerly of Ladysmith and Bruce)
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 18, 2018 at the home of her sister
and brother-in-law, Ruth (Ryall) and DeVere Johnson in Joliet, Ill.
Evelyn was born to Edna (Iverson) Ryall and Isaac “Ike” Ryall on July 17, 1925,
in Ladysmith, and attended Bruce Public Schools. She was married to Robert
Kulibert on March 10, 1945 and the couple resided in Bruce and Ladysmith from
time of marriage until 1973, when they moved to Zephyrhills.
Evelyn worked in banking for many years, in both Ladysmith and Zephyrhills. She
belonged to the Lutheran Church in Ladysmith and Zephyrhills.
Ev and Bob were season ticket holders for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and host and
hostess to countless friends and family members in their Zephyrhills homes.
After Bob’s death in 1995, Ev and Edna became roommates and Ev managed their
large rental business until moving off the property in 2004. Ev blessed her
family and friends with her vibrant laugh, her classy sense of style and her
endless hospitality.
Together, Ev and Bob had 20 nieces and nephews, and in her words “loved them as
though they were our own."
Ev is survived by her brother, Arthur/Bunny (Patricia) Ryall; her sister, Ruth (DeVere)
Johnson; her nieces and nephews, Jeri (Ken) Engebretson, Bruce (Karen) Johnson,
Lori (Kevin) Manley, Lex (Oksana) Johnson, Cheryl (Tom) Young, Dee (Scott)
Peterson, Larry (Linda Krings) Ryall, Kurt (Tricia) Johnson, Joelle Schultz,
Sharyn (Scott) Rohde, the Kulibert/Dietche family and many great-nieces and
great-nephews.
Ev was preceded in death by her husband, Robert/Bob Kulibert; her parents, Edna
and Ike Ryall and her nephew Jim Ryall and Mitch Schultz.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 12 at the Bruce Federated
Church. Visitation will be at the church from 10 to 11 a.m., with a service at
11 a.m. and a luncheon to follow.
