Fifteen neighbors of ray Hetzel, Granton (Clark Co., Wis.), came to his aid
during the past week and helped get the hay crop up for him.
Hetzel was the victim of a heart attack during the months of June and is unable
to do hay work.
The day was hot, but it didn't stop the men from putting up 2,000 bales of hay
in less than four hours. According to Hetzel and his wife, who said, "It was so
great of the men and the boys to do such a kind act, we really can be proud and
thankful for having such wonderful people in the area."
Mrs. Hetzel was helped out with the cooking by Freda Frischman and Bernice
Quicker.
