This coming weekend will be the Centennial Celebration for the Chili – Fremont
area. The weekend will begin with a mini-tractor pull on Saturday afternoon,
beginning at 1:30 East of the IGA. The evening will conclude with a dance on
Main Street beginning at 8 p.m. to midnight. Music for the dance will be
provided by Rudy Grassl and his Orchestra.
Sunday will get underway with a parade at 1:30 and a ballgame at 3:30.
During the entire weekend charcoal broiled chicken, bratwurst, and barbeques
will be sold. Ride and concession stands and a flea market will be on hand
throughout the two day celebration, along with an antique display at the
