Trampush, Mae A. (2 JAN 1931 – 11 APR 2018)
Mae A. Trampush, 87, Loyal, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018,
at the House of the Dove in Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at noon on
Saturday, April 28, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood. Rev. Steve Brice
will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Loyal
at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday, April 28,
from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
Mae Alberta Bauer was born on Jan. 2, 1931, in Marsh- fi eld, to Roland and
Beatrice (nee Hubing) Bauer. She was raised on the family farm near Spokeville
and received her education at Mack School and Loyal High School. Mae married
Henry A. Trampush on Nov. 29, 1947, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Loyal.
They farmed near Greenwood until 1951, at which time they bought a farm two
miles north of Loyal. Mae was a homemaker, farmwife and dedicated mother to her
children. During the summers, she also worked at the Loyal Cannery. She resided
at home until a short time before her death. She was a member of St. Anthony
Catholic Church and its PCCW, and a member of the Loyal American Legion
Auxiliary. Mae had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her
family, gardening, flowers and plants, cooking, auctions, antiques, estate
sales, animals, reading, and keeping a daily journal, which she has done since
1969.
She will be dearly missed by her children: Kathy (Ray) Mancl of Luxemburg, Karen
(Mark) Jensen of De Forest, Cindy (Scott) Senior of Gross Pointe Park, Mich.,
Bruce (Diane) Trampush of Marshfield, and Warren (Carolyn) Trampush of Loyal; 12
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Donna Bauer of Loyal
and Sally Bauer of Wisconsin Rapids; and several nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry, on June 20, 1996;
one son in infancy; one granddaughter, Mara J. Trampush, on Aug. 28, 2013; two
sisters: Arlene Mondloch and Virginia Seefluth; and three brothers: Kenneth,
Wallace and Sylvester Bauer.
