Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Elmhorst and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Canfield spent the
weekend at Sturgeon Bay, and also ferried across to the Washington Islands.
Enroute home they stopped and picked cherries for their own use. They report a
bountiful crop, but rather expensive compared to the price a few years ago.
Walter Schlinsog and daughter Arlyne recently returned from a visit with his
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Frank and family, Wood Lake, Minn.
Mrs. Helene Okray, Madison, visited her aunts Pearle and Daphne Beechler
Wednesday and Thursday, and also her uncle Ben Beechler and other relatives and
friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Fero attended a picnic at the home of Miss Gladys Wage,
Neillsville, on Saturday evening. The Winn sisters, Mrs. Patty Stelljigs, N.Y.,
Mrs. Kathryn Mosby, Chicago, and Mrs. Doris West, W. Virginia, have been
visiting their aunt, Miss Wage, the past week. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs.
John Winn and family, Glencoe, Minn., for the weekend.
Harold Searls is hospitalized at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, since
Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Lau and daughters, Potter, spent part of their vacation the
past week with her father, Walter Schlinsog, and sister, Arlyne.
