Potaczek, Henry P. (23 FEB 1922 - 11 DEC 2001)
Henry P. Potaczek, 79, of Jim Falls, Wis., a former Medford resident, died
Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at his daughter’s home, under the care of St. Joseph
Hospice of Chippewa falls and his family.
Henry was a partner in Potaczak Brothers scrap business, and later worked with
this son, Ted, at Potaczak Scrap co. in Athens until 1988.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol (Robert) Vach, Jim Falls; one son, John
Potaczek Mosinee; on daughter-in-law, Carol Potaczek, Athens; six grandchildren;
three sisters, Irene Kratocvil, Eau Claire, Theresa (Leonard) Dombrowski, Thorp,
and Bernice (Ted) Symbal, Stanley; and one brother Bernard (Dorothy) Potaczek,
Stanley.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford.
Burial will be in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Medford. Visitation will be
from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, where there will be
a 7 p.m. family rosary service.
