Potaczek, Sylvester W. (4 FEB 1918 - 30 JAN 1995)

Sylvester W. Potaczek, 76, Ogema, died at 10:55 p.m. January 30, 1995, at Memorial Hospital in Medford.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hemer Funeral Home, Burial will be in Mr. Olive Cemetery in Westboro.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

He was born February 4, 1918, in Stanley. He had operated a scrap and salvage yard in Thorp and retired from the Potaczek Bros. scrap yard in Medford.

Surviving are one son, Walter (Barbara) Potaczek of Appleton; two brothers, Henry (Mary) Potaczek of Medford and Bernard (Dorothy) Potaczekof Stanley; three sisters, Irene Kratochivil of Fall Creek, Bernice (Theodore) Symbal of Stanley and Theresa (Leonard) Dombrowski of Lublin; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
