Degenhardt, Denise Lucille (21 JUL 1973)
Denise Lucille Degenhardt, R. 3, Box 305, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and
Gerald Earl Malinowski, R. 1, Box 513, Loyal, were united in marriage at 6:00 in
the evening on Saturday, July 21, 1973 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood.
The Rev. Leander Koopman officiated at the nuptial mass, and Mary Jo Wagner was
organist.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin J.
Degenhardt, Greenwood. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Malinowski,
Loyal.
The bride was een in a white floor length dress made of daisy dotted Swiss on
white taffeta, with long full sleeves, with a lace cuff. The dress had empire
waistline with bow and train connecting in back. Ruffles accented the collar,
hemline and around the bodice back and front. Her flowers consisted of white
daisies with yellow centers, and yellow and white roses, and green rosebuds with
ferns, and a trailing white ribbon. She had a floor length net veil, trimmed
with white lace.
Miss Dinna Degenhardt, Greenwood was maid of honor, with Miss Joyce Malinowski,
Madison, as bridesmaid. They were seen in green, yellow and blue plaid sheer
over green taffeta dresses. They carried bouquets of white daisies with yellow
centers, yellow carnations, tiny green rosebuds and ferns with trailing white
and yellow ribbons.
Donald Radue, Loyal, was best man, and groomsman was Ronald Degenhardt,
Belvidere, Ill.
Ushers were Mark Malinowski, Loyal, and Jay Bowman, Alma Center, Wis.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents.
The bride is a 1973 graduate of Greenwood High School. Her husband is a 1968
graduate of Loyal High School, attended two eyars at Wood Co. Campus in
Marshfield, then entered the Navy in 1970.
The couple will reside in Bremerton, Washington a few months, and will continue
to travel with the Navy.
