Mr. and Mrs. James Oelhofen have announced they have sold their tavern, the
North Mound Tavern (Clark Co., Wis., Mead Township), to Mrs. Edna Sonderegger,
formerly of the Loyal (Clark Co., area).
Three years ago Mr. and Mrs. Oelhofen of Milwaukee purchased the North Mound
Tavern from Mr. and Mrs. Swede Neuman.
During their three years in business the Mr. and Mrs. Oelhofen made many friends
in this area, as well as in other areas of Clark County.
Jim has been very active in the softball leagues at Greenwood, and then was one
of a group to organize and build the enw diamond at Willard, and was an officer
of the Willard Softball Club.
The Oelhofens will reside in the Willard area, as they are building a new home
just west of the North Mound Tavern.
Mrs. Sonderegger is no stranger to this area, as she is the widow of the late
Jim Sonderegger, and they farmed northeast of Greenwood.
We are happy the Oelhofens are remaining in this area, and welcome Mrs.
Sonderegger as the new owner of North Mound Tavern. May her new business be very
successful.
