LaBarge, Jacqueline Ann (21 JUL 1973)
St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal, was the setting for the marriage of Miss
Jacqueline Ann LaBarge, Milwaukee, and Dennis Charles Cornelius, Milwaukee.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Ray LaBarge, Route 1, Loyal (Clark Co.,
Wis.).
The 2:00 p.m. ceremony was performed by Rev. Norbert E. King on Saturday, July
21, 1973. Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. Joseph Cornelius of Marshfield played
organ music. During the ceremony, Miss Reggie Deisinger and Jerry LaBarge sang
"They Were You: and "Metaphor of Love" from the Musical "The Fantastics,"
accompanied by two guitars.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose an antique linen floor length
gown in Elizabethan styling, and white lace apron. Baby's breath were held to
the crown of her hair pinned to the crown of her hair. She carried a mixed
bouquet of posies and forget-me-nots, and baby's breath.
Matron of honor for Miss LaBarge was Mrs. Jeanne Burt of Madison. She carried a
bouquet of mixed flowers and baby's breath. Her gown was princess styled and
floor length in a peach color.
Best man for Mr. Cornelius was Geoffrey Burt, Madison. Ushers for the ceremony
were Ervine Drach, Milwaukee, and Tim LaBarge, Loyal.
A reception and dinner were held at the home of the bride's parents for 40
guests.
The bride is a 1969 graduate of Loyal High School. She attended the Unviersity
of Wisconsin, Marshfield, Madison, and Milwaukee. She is Specifications Clerk at
Downing Box Company.
