On a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin are Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ruhn of Frederic, Wisconsin. The couple were married Saturday, August 4, 1973 in St. Dominic's Catholic Church. Father Hugh Rochkes of Frederic, Wisconsin performed the ceremony, and Rev. C. Graver, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, was an attendant.

Given in marriage by her brother, John R. Bertz, the bride chose a pale brocade organza gown, with pink bridal hat, and pink and yellow roses, ferns, and stephanotis. Music was furnished by the Java Trio, and Mary Lou Daesfler served as organist.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edwin E Ruhn, Frederic, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Edward Bertz, Loyal (Clark Co.),, Wisconsin.

Maid of honor for Miss Bertz was Miss Lauren Bertz, Neillsville, Wis., and bridesmaid was Miss Jana Lee Marden, Neillsville, Wis.. Flower girl was Michelle Chevalier, and ring bearer was Gary John Geller.

The attendants were seen in gowns of pale green and rose organza. They each wore large pale green picture hats, and carried baskets of roses, daisies and stephanotis.

Best man for Mr. Ruhn was Mr. Marty Chevalier of Frederic, Wis., and Mr. Dean Johnson, St. Paul, Minn. served as groomsman. Serving as ushers were Philip Bertz, Neillsville, Wisconsin and William White of Frederic, Wisconsin

A reception was held following the ceremony at the VFW in Lewistown, Wisconsin.

The bride is a graduate of Loyal High School and Eau Claire Accredited School of Beauty Culture. She is owner of "Mary Ellen's Lady Fair" Beauty Salon in Frederic, Wisconsin.

The groom is a high school graduate of Frederic, Wisconsin, and also a graduate of Midwest Technical School. He is presently employed at Minnesota Plastics in Frederic.
