Two letters from readers and one a former resident went as follows: From Floy
Horn, Miss T. Kaiser, Stratford, was a dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Elmer Horn on Friday.
Other recent guests were Ross Sloniker of Greenwood, Mr. and Mr.s Vern Bender,
Chili, Edwin Gumz, and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens.
Fern Horn, who spent a part of her summer vacation at the Elmer Honr home, has
returned to her duties as a professor at Wisconsin State University, Stevens
Point.
Letter from Mrs. Jim Hamilton, a former resident, in part read – husband has
severe rheumatoid arthritis and is in the V.A. Hospital in Madison getting shots
costing $100 each. Daughter Suzanne wed in June. Visited in the Loyal area a
month ago, and at the Lois Krause home.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Thompson and children visited with the Henry Kurz and Mike
Kurz families on Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Andy Balciar and Brenda of Marshfield visited at the Ross Stevens
home.
