Premeau, Arnold J. (19 OCT 1933 - 26 APR 2018)
Arnold J. Premeau, 84, Pittsville, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at
Marshfield Medical Center.
A memorial service was held at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield on Wednesday, May
2 at 11 a.m. where a visitation was held from 9 a.m. until service time. Deacon
Ray Draeger officiated. Burial followed at Brooklawn Memory Garden Cemetery in
the town of Richfield.
Arnie was born in Taylor County to Theodore and Anna (Shantos) Premeau on Oct.
19, 1933. He was raised in the town of Westboro, where the Premeau family has a
well-known, long-standing heritage. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Rucker
for 62 years. They were wed in Madison on Dec. 8, 1956.
Arnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, camping, wildlife and all the simple
things in life. Although he was a man of few words, he was well-known for his
wit and thoughtful advice. He also was known for being able to fix just about
anything. But most of all, he was a wonderful father to his three daughters, and
he enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything else.
Arnie is survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, Lori (Norm) Babcock and Deb
(Al) Deiler of Marshfield, and Nona (Ron) Zepplin of Stratford; grandchildren,
Michael Fairbert, Stephanie Fairbert, Troy Deiler (Nicky), Jaime (Anthony)
Reigel, Abby (Nate) Thurber, Amber Schultz, and Jesse (Meg) Zepplin and
great-grandchildren, Ryker, Emersyn, Allie, Dereck, Haily, Karisa, Jordyn,
Coldyn, Lily, Allie and Jaxon.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Keith Premeau, Virginia Haskins, and Carol
Fox.
