Oelrich, Miss (25 AUG 1973)
Making their home at 510 West Clark Street are the new Mr. and Mrs. Gregory
Griepentrog, both from Spencer, Wisconsin. Their marriage took place on
Saturday, August 25, 1973, at 4:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer.
Officiating at the ceremony was Rev. William Ruhbusch.
Parents of the couple are Mr. Theodore Oelrich and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert
Griepentrog, all of Spencer.
Serving as organist for the ceremony was Mrs. Arnold Bruesewitz, and Mrs.
Margaret Worchel was soloist.
Maid of honor for Miss Oelrich was Miss Barbara Krohn, Spender, and Mrs. Edd
Driekosen served as bridesmaid.
The attendants wore matching floor length gowns or purple with pink trim, and
carried on long stemmed white rose.
Best man was Richard Sampson, Spencer, and groomsman was Mrs. Edd Driekosen,
Marshfield, Wisconsin.
The bride and groom walked down the aisle together. The bride was attired in a
floor length gown in ivory organza designed with a circular skirt. The gown
featured a full chapel sweep train and high neckline with full Victorian
sleeves.
Serving as ushers were Scott Griepentrog, and Robert Oelrich.
A dinner was held at the Downtowner in Marshfield, and a wedding dance was held
at Spencer Municipal Hall.
The groom is a graduate of Spencer High School and is presently employed at Land
O' Lakes in Spencer.
