Robert R. Meyer, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Meyer, Loyal (Clark Co.),
Wisconsin, has been named a 1973 Burlington Northern FFA Award winner.
Selected by officials of the Wisconsin Future Farmers of America organization,
Robert's accomplishments were achieved as a member of the Loyal chapter.
His FFA projects include dairy projects. Last year, he was the State winner of
the American Legion Oratorical Contents, and received the "George Washington
Honor Medal Award" from the Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge. Robert was
included in the 1972-73 edition of "Who's Who Among American High School
Students."
He is chapter reporter, served as State Sentinel and was the State FFA Public
speaking contest.
On October 18, during the National FFA Convention in Kansas City, Mo., Robert
will be one of 45 award winners from 15 states who will be breakfast guests of
Burlington Northern at Hotel Continental.
