White, Boiler Technician 3-C Charles M. (Military - 1975)
Boiler Technician 3-C Charles M. White, son of Mrs. Larry L. White of Rt. 2
Granton, has returned to San Diego after a seven-month deployment to the western
Pacific. He is a crew-member aboard the guided missile frigate USS Jouett, and
vessel of the Seventh Fleet.
While deployed, White participated in training exercises involving air,
submarine and other surface units of the fleet, and in shipboard drills designed
to maintain the crew’s operational readiness.
He and his shipmates visited several Pacific islands, including the Philippines,
Hawaii, Japan and Hong Kong.
