Young, Hazel (7 AUG 1901 – 4 OCT 1973)
Mrs. Hazel Young, 72, of R.R. 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 10:30 a.m. on
Thursday, October 4, 1973 at Memorial Home in Neillsville.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 1973 at Rinka
Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eugene Carlson officiating. Burial was made in the
Loyal Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ervin Schmidt, Arnold Stumpner, Walter Bredlau, Dan Ellison,
H.E. Catlin, and Hugh Darton.
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
The former Hazel Shupe was born on August 7, 1901 in the Town of Beaver (Clark
Co.), and received her education in the Loyal schools.
On October 16, 1924 shew as married at Neillsville to Paul Young, who preceded
her in death on December 16, 1963. They farmed in the Town of Beaver and the
Town of Loyal until 1964, when she moved to the city of Loyal.
She is survived by two sons, Robert of R. R. 1, Loyal, and Dale, Loyal; six
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
