Making their home at Route 2, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), are the new Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Artac. Their marriage took place on Saturday, October 6, 1973 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, Wisconsin. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Thieme, Stoney Beach Tavern, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Artac, Route 2, Greenwood.

The 1:00 p.m. ceremony was followed by a 3:00 p.m. supper, reception and dance.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, chose a floor length bridal gown, featuring lace over the bodice and skirt. The gown had long, full sleeves, and a lace-edged floor length mantilla. The bride carried a bouquet of red roses and white rose buds.

Furnishing organ music for the ceremony as Mrs. Ann Lamovec, and Mrs. Helen Horn served as soloist.

Maid of honor for Miss Thieme was Miss Donna Thieme, Marshfield. Bridesmaids were Miss Marie Boyance, Marshfield; Miss Robin Musich, Willard, Wis., and Miss Barbara Thieme (junior bridesmaid), also from Mashfield.

The bridal attendants apparel consisted of floor length empire styled gowns in purple, with white lace trim. The gowns featuring leg of mutton sleeves.

Best man for the groom was Lawrence Artac, Greenwood, and groomsmen were: Da Neil Humke, Greenwood, John Trunkel, Willard, Richard Thieme, Marshfield (junior groomsman).

Serving as ushers were Mr. Lee Schmidt, Auburndale, and Jack Trunkel, Willard.

The bride is a 1971 graduate of Marshfield Senior High. She has been employed by Weyerhaeuser.

The bridegroom graduated from Greenwood High School in 1966 and is presently employed as an electrician.
