Seidel, Ronald “Ron” Joseph (20 DEC 1933 - 7 MAY 2018)
Ronald “Ron” Joseph Seidel, 84, of Hayward, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018
at Shell Lake Health Care Center in Shell Lake.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 at Bevsek-Verbick
Funeral Home, West 195 South 6610 Racine Avenue, Muskego. Visitation will be
held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment
will take place at Rural Home Cemetery in Big Bend.
Ron was born on Dec. 20, 1933 in Rib Lake, the son of Carl and Sophie (Ulczycki)
Seidel. He was united in marriage to Eleanor “Elly” Marie Kappus on Feb. 14,
1953 in Ironwood, Mich. Ron and Elly celebrated their 65 wedding anniversary
earlier this year.
Ron enjoyed a successful 32 year career at Milsco Manufacturing, retiring in
1996 as vice president of manufacturing engineering. After retirement he and
Elly moved to the Hayward area where they enjoyed their time on the lake. Ron’s
interests included sports, music, politics, the weather and making his usual
small bets at the casino.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor of Hayward; his children, Ron
(Julie) Seidel and Mike (Rose) Seidel all of Waterford and Kathy Warner of
Waukesha; his grandchildren, Amy (Will), Joel (Brianna), Tyler, Sam, Sara
(Brent), Ben, Joshua, Jessica and Brandon; eight great-grandchildren; and
nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his son, Dave Seidel;
and his brother, Gerald Seidel.
