Cammers, Arthur (14 OCT 1898 – 22 OCT 1973)
Arthur Cammers, 75, of R. 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 1:13 a.m. Monday,
October 22, 1973 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at St. Anthony's Catholic Church,
with burial in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Norbert King will officiate.
The Rinka Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Arthur Cammers was born October 14, 1898 in the Town of Beaver (Clark Co.) and
received his education in Loyal area schools. He was married on October 27, 1920
at Loyal to the former Marguerite Leatherdale, who preceded him in death on
December 16, 1965. He started farming in 1921 at Spokeville (Clark Co.). In 1947
he moved to a farm in the Town of Loyal, where he farmed until 1957. He worked
at Weyerhaeuser and farmed, retiring in 1963.
Art Cammers is survived by one son, Earl, R. 1, Loyal.
He was preceded in death by his wife, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and one daughter in
infancy.
A PCCW Rosary was held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, with the K.C. Rosary at 8 p.m., and a general rosary at 8:30.
