Roehl, Elgin D. (3 OCT 1941 – 22 OCT 1973)

Elgin D. Roehl, 32, R. 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 4:45 p.m., October 22, 1973, due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 1973, at the Rinka Funeral Home, with burial in the parish cemetery. The Rev. McCormick of United Methodist Church of Chili, officiated.

Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Elgin Roehl was born October 3, 1941 at Granton (Clark Co., Wis.). He received his education in Granton and Loyal schools, graduating from Loyal High School in 1959. He was in the Army for two years, and was presently farming.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Chili.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Frieda Roehl; two brothers, Lowell and Erlin, both of R. 2, Loyal; and one sister, Kathleen of Milwaukee.

He was preceded in death by his father.
