Father James Lane performed the Saturday, October 13, 1973 marriage ceremony for Miss Ruth E. Shelwik and Thomas D. Hoeser at the Newman Ecumenical Center at La Crosse.

Mr. and Mrs. Bertrum Shelwik of Milwaukee, Wis. are the bride's parents, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hoeser, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) are the parents of the bridegroom.

The bridal attendants were Miss Linda Knolle, Miss Karen Shelwik, and Miss Therese Hoeser.

In the groom's party were Mr. David Myre, Mr. Mike Berginski, and Mr. Steve Shelwik.

Dinner was served at Walt's Restaurant after the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Hoeser will reside at 310 N. 11th Street, La Crosse, Wisconsin.
