Kadolph, William (1 JUL 1890 – 4 DEC 1973)
William Kadolph, 83, R. 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday,
December 4, 1973 at the Marshfield Convalescent Center of a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church,
Loyal, with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery.. Rev. William Humlie will
officiate.
The body will lie in state at the Rinka Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday, and
after 9:30 a.m. at the church on Friday.
William Kadolph was born July 1, 1890 at Hartford, Wis. He moved to Loyal at the
age of 11. He received his education at Hartford and Loyal schools. On September
23, 1911 he was married to the former Anna Lemke, who preceded him in death on
October 9, 1970. After his marriage he purchased the farm from his father and
farmed until 1940. He worked at various jobs until his retirement in 1960. He
has been a resident of the Convalescent Center in Marshfield for the past two
years.
He is survived by one son, Hillis, R. 1, Loyal; one daughter, Mrs. Wesley
(Irene) Jahr, Marshfield, and one brother, Max Kadolph, Hartford, Wis. He is
also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and one sister.
