Hills, Alfred Sr. (16 JUL 1906 – 27 DEC 1973)
Alfred "Fat" Hills Sr., 67, Rt. 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 2:57 p.m.
December 27, 1973, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, with
Rev. Eugene Carlson officiating. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery.
He was born in Loyal on July 16, 1906, and received his education in Loyal
schools.
He lived in the Tripoli and Ladysmith area, returning to Loyal in 1931.
He was married in 1930 to the former Ina Parker, who survives him.
He was employed at Milwaukee Bordens, and for many years at O.W. Trindal Co.,
retiring in August of 1969.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by six sons, Alfred Jr., Loyal, Donald,
Loayl; John, Milwaukee; Charles, Loyal, David and Mike, Milwaukee; three
daughters, Mrs. Pat (Doreen) Duell, Loyal; Doreen Sinclaire, Milwaukee, and
Susan, Loyal; 18 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; three brothers,
Calvin, Vesper; Harold, Loyal; Charles, Milwaukee, and one sister, Della,
Almond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one daughter.
Pallbearers were Leonard and Bernard Denk, Steve Brussow, Edward Miller, Clayton
Englebretson and Edgar Verhalen.
The Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
