Hoeser, Sandra Ann (29 DEC 1973)

Miss Sandra Ann Hoeser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hoeser, route 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and Stephen Lander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rollin Lander, route 2, Madison Lake, Minnesota, were married on the island of Guam on Saturday, December 29, 1973.

The concelebrated nuptial ceremony was held at 4 p.m. and was performed by Bishop F. Flores, with assistance of the Rev. R. Sams in the Franciscan Sisters Chapel in Sinnjana, Guam.

Sister Alice played the organ and a number of Christmas selection were sung for the occasion.

The bride's gown and groom's shirt were matching red and white island day print, the bride having a white double plumeria lei and the bridegroom a green leaf lei.

Sister Bernadette Prochaska of Agana, Guam, the bridesmaid, and Lt. Richard Jamieson of Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, has single leis matching the bride's and groom's.

The bride, who was a 1969 graduate of Viterbo College, La Crosse, has been an elementary teacher at La Crosse, at La Crescent, Minnesota, and in schools in Guam. Her husband is an architectural engineer and is a 1969 graduate of the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington.

A Philippine honeymoon will be taken at Easter time.
