Cooley, Scott M. Jr. (2 FEB 1978 - 16 MAY 2018)

Scott M. Cooley, Jr., 40, formerly of Boyd, died from natural causes at his home on May 16th.

He was born on February 2, 1978 in Chippewa Falls to Scott and LaRae (Ernst) Cooley, Sr. He grew up south of Boyd on the family farm and went to Stanley-Boyd High. After High School he entered the Navy for four years.

He returned home and helped with the family farm for a time, worked at a truss factory and the last 10 years worked for Aramark of Madison. He enjoyed being outdoors; farming, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and LaRae Cooley, Sr. of Boyd, his brother, Paul Cooley of Boyd, his sister, Amy (Tony Fasbender) Cooley of Thorp and his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Scott is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Rose Ernst and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Emma Cooley.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley. Interment will follow in Edson Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30AM until time of service Saturday at the Funeral Home.
