Notice in Banner Journal, 5/09/18:

Beverly Pearl Lightfoot, 80, of Eau Claire, formerly of Humbird, died Sunday, May 6, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home Friday.

Obituary in 5/16/2018:

Beverly Pearl Lightfoot, 80, of Eau Claire, formerly of Humbird, died Sunday, May 6, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Emergency Room in Eau Claire.

Beverly was born Nov. 9, 1937, in Deer Run, MN, to William and Ilene (Collins) Niskanen. She graduated from Menahga High School in Menahga, MN.

Beverly married Jacob Lightfoot Dc. 16, 1956. While Jacob was serving with the U.S. Airforce they lived in various locations, eventually settling in Humbird with their family. While in Humbird, they owned and operated Badger Jacket from 1981 to 1996.

Beverly was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed bowling and crocheting.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jacob; three sons: Jacob “J.D.” and wife Debbie Lightfoot of Neillsville; Douglas Lightfoot of Eau Claire and Timothy Lightfoot of St. Francis, MN; one brother, Willie and wife Jane Niskanen of Milaca, MN; seven grandchildren: Jacob, Theresa, Matt, Jamie, Cole, Cole, Travis and Alyssa; four great-grandchildren: Aurora, Emerson, Hadley and Willow.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Ilene; a sister, Muriel; brother, Darrell; and a granddaughter, Jessica.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton. Friends called from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home Friday. Rev. Terry Marg officiated. Burial followed in Mentor Cemetery, Humbird.
