Hebert, Blanche E. (10 JUL 1889 – 20 FEB 1974)
Blanche E. Hebert, age 84, formerly of Spencer, died at 6:45 p.m. at the
Colonial House of Colby, February 20, 1974. She was a resident of the Colonial
House of Colby. Funeral services were held on February 23, 1974 at 11:00 a.m.,
with Rev. Bervie A. Scott officiating. Burial was made in the West Spencer
Cemetery (Clark Co., Wis.).
The former Blanche Bump was born July 10, 1889 in Campbellsport. Wisconsin and
received her education at Campbellsport.
On November 7, 1906 she was married to Roy Hebert. They farmed in the Town of
Beaver (Clark Co.), then moved to Spencer, where they resided and retired. They
moved to the Colonial House of Colby in 1970. Her husband survives her. She is
also survived by the following children: Mrs. Carl (Ione) Dallman of Colby; and
Mrs. Lester (Eleanor) Binning of Marshfield, and two grandchildren.
One brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Methodist Ladies Aid.
Pallbearers were Warren Jacobitz, Clyde Jacobitz, Arnold Bruesewitz, John Orgish,
Lester Kenyon, and Leland Hebert.
Mrs. Carol Kasper sang "The Old Rugged Cross, " and Mrs. Linda Roder was the
organist.
