In a transaction that took place March 1, 1974, Ronald Rux, Spencer, owner of
the Rux Funeral Home, has purchased the Lulloff Funeral Home and Furniture Store
in Colby.
Mr. Rux will operate the newly acquired business along with the Rux Funeral Home
in Spencer, which he purchased from Irvin Jasperson in 1972.
The Lulloff Funeral Home was owned by Woodrow Tesmer, who started the business
in 1936. Bernard Wavrunek, who has been associated with the business since 1966,
will also remain with the firm.
The name of the business will be retained and Mr. Rux stated he hopes to give
the same service to the area that has been given in the past.
