Becker, Erwin B. (25 AUG 1921 - 21 MAY 2018)
Erwin B. Becker, 96, of Gilman, formerly of Kenosha, went home to the arms of
God on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 11 a.m. at the Hansen-Lendman
Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be

Erwin was born on Oct. 25, 1921 to the late Robert and Augusta Becker in
Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. On Jan. 21, 1948 he married

for 35 years, retiring in 1981.
Erwin was a born-again Christian who lived his faith throughout his life. He
enjoyed model trains, fishing, hunting, going to auctions, repairing clocks, a
horseman, playing his harmonica, watching westerns and an amateur
jack-of-all-trades.
Erwin is survived by his daughters, Nancy Freitag, Betty Becker and Cynthia
Morris, all of Kenosha; his 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several
great-great-grandchildren; and his dog, Skipper. He is also survived by 21
nieces and nephews.
Erwin was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacqueline Hernandez; a grandson,
Bryan Freitag; a great-grandson, Skyler Freitag; three brothers; and eight
sisters.
A special thank you to the staff and residents at Oak Ridge Care Center who
helped Erwin feel welcomed and at home so quickly.
