Rodda, Robert “Bob” F. (12 MAR 1937 - 22 MAY 2018)
Robert “Bob” F. Rodda, 81, Medford, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at
Aspirus Medford Hospital.
He was born on March 12, 1937 to Daniel and Wanda (Young) Rodda in Maplehurst,
WI. He met the love of his life Geraldeen “Gerry” Schupp at the Medford City
Park 4th of July Celebration in 1959. They later married On September 10, 1960
at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. They cherished all 57 years of marriage
together. She preceded him in death on December 16, 2017.
He worked for Hurd Millwork for 44 years until his retirement. In his retirement
he worked for the Dirt Fighters.
In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, cutting wood, going to
garage sales, tinkering in his garage, and his daschund, Billie.
Robert is survived by his 4 Daughters, Gina (Alan) Brandt of Medford, Julie
(Troy) David of Pittsville, Roberta (Shane) Arrowood of Weston, Cathy (Geoff)
Brown of Eugene, OR; Grandson, Sam Arrowood of Weston and many other family and
friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother,
Wes Rodda and sister, Ruby Blume.
Cremation Rites have been accorded and no services will be held at this time.
Hemer Funeral Service of Medford and Rib Lake has been entrusted with
arrangements.
