Nemitz, James “Jim” R. (6 July 1956 – 30 March 2018)
James “Jim” R. Nemitz was born July 6, 1956 to Louie and Helen (Hagedorn)
Nemitz. He lived what he often referred to as a “wonderful life.” He enjoyed
football, especially the Green Bay Packers and music. He enjoyed his career with
Christensen Drywall, and he particularly cherishes his crews; holding many of
them as close personal friends. Jim (also known as Big Vern) was a strong and
passionate man, fighting and overcoming open heart surgery and cancer. He met
his maker while doing what he loved, watching the water and listening to music
March 30, 2018, in Sebastian, FL.
He blesses the world with over 40 years of marriage to his best friend, Sandi
(Christensen) Nemitz; his three children: Lorna (Glenn) Hall, James E. Nemitz
and Nycki Nemitz; and four grandchildren: Lilly and Louie Nemitz and Dezariah
and Coletin Wallsch. He loved and was proud of all his family and was proud of
his family members, and especially his brothers, Paul (Cathy) Nemitz and Bill
(Dianne) Nemitz.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Louie and Helen Nemitz; brother
Bob (Judy) Nemitz and nephews Terry, Tim and Keith Nemitz.
He was loved by anyone who knew him, and those that did will understand that
there will be no typical ceremonies. Instead, per his request, we are having Big
Jim’s party Saturday, June 23, 2018, following a brief prayer ceremony at
Salisbury Resort starting at 1 p.m. He requested everyone come and have a good
time, enjoy themselves and no tears.
