Delo, Henry (25 APR 1888 – 16 MAR 1974)
Henry Delo, 85, R. 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 3:15 a.m., March 16,
1974, at the Colonial Nursing Home at Colby.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church,
Loyal, with burial in the Loyal Cemetery. The Rev. Eugene Carlson officiated.
Pallbearers were Gordon, Rodney, Randy, Donald, Milton, and Wayne Delo, all
grandsons.
Mrs. Robert Prior sang "Old Rugged Cross" and "How Great Thou Art," accompanied
by Mrs. Ray Feldt on the organ.
The Rink Funeral Home, Loyal, had charge of arrangements.
Henry Delo was born April 25, 1888 at Sheboygan, and received his education in
Sheboygan schools. He was married on July 31, 1912, at Loyal, to the former Rosa
Wichman, who survives him. He farmed all his live in the Town of Beaver (Clark
Co.), retiring in 1953. He resided near the home farm.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Merlin, R. 2, Loyal;
Victory, Milwaukee, Jerome, R. 1, Loyal; 22 grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren, and one brother, Arnold, Sheboygan.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one half-brother.
