Hopperdietzel, Raymond “Bucky” (26 AUG 1927 - 20 JAN 2003)

Raymond “Bucky” Hopperdietzel, 75, Town of Rietbrock, died Monday, January 20, 2003 at Colonial Manor Medical & Rehabilitation Center, Wausau.

Raymond was born August 26, 1927 in the town of Rietbrock, son of the late Frank and Ola (Kahl) Hopperdietzel. He married Delores Achterberg on July 31, 1948 in the town of Hamburg. She survives.

Bucky was a farmer in the town of Rietbrock and the town grader for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman.

Besides his wife Delores, he is survived by four children, Carol (Melvin) Roesler, Merrill, Geraldine (Harland) Westfall, Athens, Bernice Hopperdietzel, Athens, Byron Hopperdietzel, Athens one sister, Mrs. Leona Wiese, Medford.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Ralph Hopperdietzel.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 23, 2003, at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home Athens Burial will be in Athens Cemetery. Friends may on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 A.M until the time of services all at the funeral home.
