The installation of the Rev. Everett Schleef as pastor of Zion Lutheran Church
of Granton (Clark Co., Wis.), will be conducted on Sunday, April 28, 1974. Dr.
Lloyd Goetz, President of the North Wisconsin District, The Lutheran Church,
Missouri Synod, will perform the rite of installation, and also preach the
sermon. The Rev. Richard J. Muehl, who has served as vacancy pastor since the
end of November, will be in charge of the service. Pastors of the Marshfield and
Wisconsin Rapids area have also been invited to participate in the services.
The service will be at 8:00 p.m. It will be followed with a fellowship potluck
lunch.
Pastor Schleef comes to Granton Aurora, Minnesota, where he served Redeemer
Lutheran Church since his ordination into the ministry of the Lutheran Church,
Missouri Synod in 1968. Pastor and Mrs. Schleef have four children: Rochelle,
Anthony, Nicole, and Joel. Pastor and Mrs. Schleef and family will reside in the
parsonage at Granton.
