Robert Blaha, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Blaha has received a F.F.A Foundation
Award in fish and wildlife management. Robert is a member of the Colby High
School F.F.A and raises pheasants for hunting preserves.
Mrs. Erma Romanik from Beverly, Kentucky was a Friday visitor at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Leonard Nichols. Mrs. Romanik works as a missionary for the Methodist
Church in Beverly, Kentucky.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Engevold and son Mike from Spencer were Saturday dinner
guests at the home of Mr. And Mrs. Erland Shelley and family.
Mrs. Edgar Williams was a Saturday dinner guest at the home of her daughter, Mr.
and Mrs. Walter Raczykowski, Colby, and a Sunday dinner guests at the home of
her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Fishcer.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Loos, Colby, were Tuesday afternoon guests at the home of
his sister, Mr.s Edgar Williams.
On Wednesday evening Pfc. Richard Steinwagner arrived at the home of his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Steinwagner, from Fort Carson, Colorado, where he
had been stationed for the past 1 1/2 years with the Army. After his leave he
will be leaving from New Jersey for Frankfort, Germany, where he will be
stationed for one year.
