Walter, Mary Catherine (19 APR 1974)
Mary Catherine walter, 411 St. Joseph Ave., Marshfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Franklin Walter, R. 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage at 8:00
p.m. Friday, April 19, 1974, to Danny Lee Bravener, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adelbert
Bravener, R. 3, Greenwood (Clark Co.). Father Leander Koopman, pastor of St.
Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, officiated at the ceremony, which was held at
the church.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was seen in a gown with
white lace bodice, over and under bodice of sheer fabric with stand-up lace
collar. She had a mantilla veil with lace edging, with shadow veil.
Her flowers were a cascade arrangement of pink carnations, red roses, and baby's
breath.
Miss Diane Schultz, R. 1, Loyal, was maid of honor, and was seen in a pastel
pink and green gown designed with white lace bodice, with a coordinating pink
A-line skirt. She carried a nosegay of white miniature carnations and pink
sweetheart roses.
Richard Bravener, R. 3, Greenwood, was best man.
Miss Kathy McNeely and Mr. Dough Ely sang, with Jody Schoonover playing the
organ.
A small reception and dinner were held at the Amber Inn, Loyal, after the
wedding ceremony..
The bride is a 1973 graduate of Loyal High School and is employed at
Weyerhaeuser. Her husband is a 1972 graduate of Greenwood High School and is
engaged in farming.
