Debbie Bloom, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), will receive a certificate of excellence
in Spanish at the May 9, 1974 Academic Awards Night at the University of
Wisconsin, Platteville.
Debbie is working toward a B.A. degree, with a double major in Spanish and
Chemistry. She is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and Kappa Delta Pi honor
societies, and has an overall grade point average of 3.96 our of a possible 4.0.
She has spent a summer studying with other UW, Platteville students at the
Institute of Technology at Monterrey, Mexico.
She graduated first in her class from Loyal High School in 1972, was a Badger
Girls State representative, and winter of the Bausch and Lomb and Betty Crocker
Homemaker Awards.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Bloom, Loyal.
