Blomberg, Myrtle May (Brooks) (17 FEB 1925 - 2 JUN 2018)
Myrtle May Blomberg, 93, Town of Hill, Ogema, died Saturday June 2, 2018, at
Aspirus Care and Rehab Center in Medford, WI.
She was born on February 17, 1925, in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late Rev.
George and Myrtle Brooks. She graduated from the El Paso High School in El Paso,
Texas. Her marriage to the late Ivar H. Blomberg took place on June 8, 1947, at
El Paso, Texas. She was a member of the Ogema Baptist Church, and of the Liberty
Belles Homemakers.
Survivors include one son, Tim, Ogema; two daughters, Judy (Rev. James) LeMaster,
Ogema, and Debby (Wayne) Berfeldt, St. Paul, MN; grandchildren Larisa (George)
Klein, James I. LeMaster, Alex (Heather) LeMaster, Aaron (Katie) Berfeldt,
Samantha (Sean) Hallowell, Devon Berfeldt, and Tara Berfeldt; seven
great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son,
James, and by six brothers, Milton, Larry, Harry, Alfred, Charlie, and Leslie
Brooks, and by many sisters and brothers in law.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 9, at the Ogema
Baptist Church in Ogema with Rev. Rodney Price officiating. Interment will take
place in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in the Town of Hill. Friends may call
at the Ogema Baptist Church in Ogema on Friday after 5:00 P.M. and on Saturday
from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services.
