Lamoreaux, Delores Eva (Tom) (27 DEC 1937 - 7 JUN 2018)
Delores Eva Lamoreaux passed away at her home on June 7, 2018, while under the
care of her family and Flambeau Home Health and Hospice.
She was born on December 27, 1937, in Phillips, the daughter of Joseph J. and
Sue A. (Dill) Tom. She was baptized and confirmed at Saint John Lutheran Church.
She was a 1956 graduate of the Phillips High School. She was united in marriage
to Lee V. Lamoreaux in Phillips on June 7, 1969.
Some of her places of employment were: Owner and Operator of the Snack Shop and
the Phillips Youth Center; Price Electric Cooperative; Price County Nutrition
Program; Saint John Lutheran Church; and the Town of Flambeau. She was a member
of and served as President of the board of Directors of the Price Credit Union,
was a member of the Women’s Auxillary of the Lane Kreiling American Legion Post
No 122, and a member of the “Save the Lugerville School” Committee.
She is survived by her husband, Lee V. Lamoreaux; by one daughter, Suzette Marie
(Mark) Tweet, Eau Claire, WI; by two grandsons, Gavin Lee and Lars Edwin; by her
brother, David Joseph Tom, Rib Lake; and by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and by one brother Clyde (Gerri) Tom.
Cremation has taken place and an interment committal service will be held at a
later date at Two Lakes Cemetery in Phillips. The family suggests that memorials
take the form of an offering to Catkins Animal Rescue in Park Falls and/or
Northwoods Animal Hospital in Minocqua.
