Funeral services were held Monday, June 14, 1971 for John F. Braatz, age 74, who passed away June 10, 1971. The services were conducted from the Yonke Funeral Home, Pewaukee, with burial being made in Pinelawn Cemetery, Milwaukee.

He is survived by his wife, Verna (nee Reimer); three daughters, Mrs. Lester (Arlene) Krueger of Oconomowoc; Mrs. Willard (Harriet) Krueger, Shawano; and Mrs. Orville (Joyce) Lenser, Waukesha; three brothers, Alfred of Brookfield; Henry of Menomonee Falls, and Walter of Brookfield; five sisters, Mrs. Laura Janke, Brown Deer; Mrs. Elsie Podewil, Butler; Mrs. Lilly Reimer, Lannon; Mrs. Esther Hellmuth of Colorado, and Mrs. Louise Wolf, Brookfield; three sons-in-law and 12 grandchildren.
