Deltova, Joseph (3 MAR 1884 – 6 JUL 1971)
The death Tuesday, July 6, 1971, of Joseph Deltova, was attributed to
complications of old age. He died at the Clark County Hospital, where he had
been a resident since 1967.
Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock this morning from the Hoeper and Kraut
Funeral Home, with Father George Becker being in charge of the final rites.
Interment was made at Riverside Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Joe Micke, John Bonczyk, John Greschner, Victor
Skaleski, Raymond Klinger, and Hub Missling.
Joseph Deltova was born March 3, 1884 in Lithuania and came to the United States
in 1910. He married in 1912 to his wife, Agnes, who survives him, in a ceremony
performed in Chicago, Ill. In 1930 the couple moved to the Town of Longwood
(Clark Co., Wis.), where they have since lived.
Other survivors, besides his widow, Agnes, are a son, Peter of route 1, Owen; a
daughter, Mrs. Willis (Agnes) Wegman of Chicago, and two brothers, George and
John Deltova, both of Chicago, Ill.
