Brick, Bertha A. (23 FEB 1903 – 2 JUL 1971)
Bertha A. Brick, 68, Village of Boyd, died Friday evening at her home.
Mrs. Brick was born February 23, 1903 at Stevens Point, and married Fred Brick
at Chicago on June 17, 1920. She and her husband operated Brick's Tavern in Boyd
for more than 25 years.
She is survived by one brother, Clarence Chris, Abbotsford; four sisters, Mrs.
Lillian Hammel, Boyd; Mrs. Lucille Zondlo, Rib Lake; Mrs. Clara Kleinstick,
Gary, Indiana; and Mrs. Rose Knaack, Owen.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 28, 1971 at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church in Boyd, with Father Eugene Comiskey officiating. Burial was in
the church cemetery.
