The Rev. Henry W. Luetkehoelter, pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee
(Clark Co., Wis.) the past five years, has announce that he is resigning
effective August 31, 1971. He will deliver his final sermon in the Withee church
at 9:30 a.m., August 29th.
The Rev. Mr. Luetkehoelter was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, where he had
elementary, high school, university and theological training. He attend the
University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C., where he started his
theological training, and completed his studies in the University of
Saskatchewan, Saskatoon.
He was ordained a minister of United Lutheran Church in 1904 and left
immediately for missionary service in India. He returned to the United States in
1966 and accepted an invitation to serve as pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church
in Withee. He and his wife, Patricia, are the parents of four children: Mark,
10; Kathleen, 8; Mary Susan, 7, and James, 2.
The Rev. Mr. Luetkehoelter announce Monday that he has not decided about future
plans. He and his family visited his relatives in Saskatchewan, Canada, last
week.
