Cornelius, Dennis Charles “Chuck” (26 AUG 1951 - 30 JUN 2018)

Dennis Charles “Chuck” Cornelius, age 66, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2018, in Wausau under the care of hospice.

Chuck was born on Aug. 26, 1951, in Milwaukee. He attended Marshfield schools and the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He majored in acting and directing at UW-Milwaukee. Chuck appeared on professional and semi-professional stages in Milwaukee, New York, San Francisco, San Diego and Cincinnati. Chuck was also an over-the-road truck driver for many years.

Chuck is survived by two brothers, Tom (Judy) Cornelius of Tomahawk and Joe (Gloria) Cornelius of Abbotsford.

He is further survived by two sons, Aaron (Jamie) Cornelius and Gabriel “Bo” (Abby) Cornelius of Missouri; his granddaughter, B Rae; along with his soul-mate, Sharilyn Sailing of Wausau.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer “Duke” and Ardyce (Goldamer) Cornelius.

Per Chuck’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services. John J. Buettgen Funeral Home of Wausau is in charge of the arrangements.
